
Matthew S. Crider, Attorney
Matthew Crider formed Crider Law PC in 1999 so he could help individuals by providing creative solutions and to be their trusted advisor and legal counselor. Matthew provides services in estate planning, advising individuals and families on how to protect themselves, their loved ones, and their assets. His estate planning practice focuses on preserving and growing wealth by providing comprehensive, highly personalized estate planning counsel to couples, families, individuals and businesses. He serves his clients by listening closely to their goals, dreams and concerns and working with them to develop superior and comprehensive plans. Matthew also provides advice to individuals who own businesses, focusing on entity selection, management, and various other financial and business management issues.
Matthew earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, which has consistently been ranked as one of the top graduate accounting programs in the nation. He earned his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston, where he served as an editor on Law Review and received numerous faculty awards. Matthew has litigated cases in the California Superior Courts, Texas District Courts, United States District Courts, and the United States Supreme Court.
Laney Lyons, Senior Paralegal
Laney joined our team in 2010 as a Senior Paralegal. Laney has more than 14 years of experience working in law firms specializing in estate planning and corporate law. She has co-led a national coaching program for legal assistants and trained law firms across the country in multiple practice models. She has also co-authored a book published by Simon & Schuster. Laney is a true renessaince woman who has a very broad range of talents and interests.
Maria Benitez, Senior Administrative Assistant
Maria has worked with Crider Law since 2010. She has more than 15 years of experience working in legal and corporate environments.

Kimberly Morgan, Public Relations Coordinator
Kimberly’s role is to introduce Crider Law to the community. Her passion lies in educating the public about the need for having a solid plan in place that will work in the way it was intend it to, and the scenarios that would keep it from working. She promotes and schedules attorney Matthew Crider for private and community speaking engagements addressing things that attendees know they need to think about, but are not always sure where to get accurate information.
Kimberly is also responsible for interacting with those interested in our unique approach to estate planning, by explaining how Crider Law is different from other law firms, including no surprise bills, an accessible attorney, a plan that is custom fit to your individual needs, and much more.
Kimberly holds an AA Degree in Business Administration and a BA in Psychology.
Bari Vallas, Funding Coordinator
Bari’s expertise lies in asset examination, organization and trust funding. Bari is a licensed attorney that practiced civil litigation for 20 years before transitioning into the world of trust funding. As Funding Coordinator, Bari assists with the review and organization of asset information for each client, prepares our clients’ asset reports, and works diligently with our clients and their financial institutions to make sure their assets are properly titled to coordinate with their estate plans. Bari resides is California with her husband and their four-legged babies.
